Privacy Policy

The short version

Spot Logger keeps everything on your device — we have no servers.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.
Your location is only used to tag the spots you choose to save, and is never transmitted off your device.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
The optional one-time "Pro" unlock is handled by Apple — we never see your payment details.

1 Everything Stays on Your Device

Spot Logger does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Your saved spots — photos, notes, GPS coordinates, and tags — live only on your iPhone and are included in your device's normal iCloud or computer backup.

We have no servers and never receive a copy of your data. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@jonnyp-industries.com.

2 Location

GPS coordinates are used only to tag the spots you choose to save, and to show them on a map within the app. Your location is never transmitted off your device.

3 Photos

The app accesses your photo library only to attach images you pick to a saved spot, and — if you enable it — to save photos to your camera roll. Photos remain on your device.

4 No Tracking

There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services or SDKs. Nothing about your usage is measured or reported.

      In short: Spot Logger makes no network requests to share your data, and communicates with no external servers about how you use the app.
    

5 Purchases

The optional one-time "Pro" unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details. Restoring purchases uses Apple's standard mechanism.

6 Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control. Deleting a saved spot removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes all of its data.

7 Children

Spot Logger does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

8 Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
