This Privacy Policy describes how JonnyP Industries LTD ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Ack Ack Attack! game ("the Game") on iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC, whether you get it from the App Store, itch.io or Steam.
The Game does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything it saves — your campaign progress, kit and upgrades, high-score tables, the run-by-run comms log, and your settings and control mappings — lives only on the device you play on and is included in that device's normal backup. We have no servers and never receive a copy.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at info@jonnyp-industries.com.
| Data | Purpose | Stored |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign progress, kit & upgrades | Core game functionality — continuing your run between sessions | On device only |
| High-score tables & the name you enter on them | Local arcade-style score tables, including the Daily table | On device only |
| Comms log | Your run-by-run mission history | On device only |
| Settings, controls & controller mappings | Remembering your preferences between sessions | On device only |
| Full Game unlock (iPhone & iPad) | Optional one-time purchase of the full game | Apple App Store |
| Analytics, advertising, tracking | — | Not collected |
| Personal or account data | — | Not collected |
| Location, camera, microphone, photos | — | Never accessed |
There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services or SDKs built into the Game. Nothing about how you play is measured or reported to us or to anyone else.
The Game does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library, and has no use for them.
On iPhone and iPad, the Game is a free download that includes the demo. The optional one-time Full Game unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's own in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; we never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Restoring the purchase on a new device uses Apple's standard mechanism.
To know whether the unlock is owned, the Game asks the App Store on your device for its purchase record and remembers the answer locally so the full game works offline. No purchase information is sent to us.
On Mac and PC, the demo and the full game are bought from itch.io or Steam. Those stores handle the purchase under their own privacy policies; the Game itself still collects nothing.
Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy. We have no control over the data practices of Apple, Valve (Steam), or itch.io.
The Game does not use Game Center, online leaderboards, cloud saves, multiplayer, or push notifications. The Daily mode gives everyone the same deck each day by generating it from the date on your device — no server is involved, and the Daily score table is your own local one.
Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control. Deleting the Game removes all of its data from your device. We retain nothing, because we never had a copy.
Your Full Game purchase record is kept by Apple against your Apple ID, so you can restore it if you reinstall the Game.
Ack Ack Attack! does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Because we collect no personal data, changes to this policy are unlikely to affect you in any meaningful way.
